Hi all,I know a lot of you,who aren't all that superstitious, don't believe in this, but I have to tell you,it's weird how I've been having problems with this book I'm writing.
As some of you may know, because I brought this up once,or twice in other sections of this board, but it's really getting ridiculous with all these problems.Just today, while I was just about to wrap up proof-reading this thing before sending it off to a publisher, and this computer disk I've been doing this book on froze up on me,and now I can't use the particular disk.I saved this part of the book on a second disk, but only got the first few pages of this part on this disk,so I,pretty much, lost 100 pages of the book, that I have to recreate now. This is the upteenth time something like this has happened to me,most,if not all of which happened after I mentioned that my little daughter,in the book,is named after Heather's character in the "Poltergeist" movies.I'm not all that superstitious, either, but this is getting ridiculous. What do you all think? Let me know, thanks!

I think that something it's real since the moment you start to believe in it.... It's just like for death people, they are not really death if someone on this earth remember him or her... I mean this person become a reminder but a reminder is something that really exist ...

It's the same problem with jinx and curses, if someone believe that he's cursed, he's going to construe every single little problem like the manifestation of his curse, and so than curse start to exist, but if he does not believe in the curse he does not pay any attention about all the bad fact....

Unfortunately disks are just unreliable, I wouldnt trust anything important on a floppy - in fact I dont trust CDs or DVDs either - but you just have to risk it sometimes.

wow im the first one to vote on this poll hehe ... well i wish i could say that the curse isnt real or that its just "maybe" real but i cant im sorry too many tragies too many odd experiences and everything surrounded it for me to not put that it is a true curse. But then again look at me i am very super superstious and any of you that remember my little off topic decussion remember all of my ghost stories ... i might be too enthiastic on that topic. But i love it. So yea ... well i best be off im really tired now.

This is my 1st post, and like never before my mail server was down 24 hrs, so i couldn't activate my account.
Also, i tried to record the special on E! a while ago and i couldn't do it in many ocassions... power off, recording from other chan and vcr tape stop was some of the things happened.
Since little kid i had a weird feeling about the poltergeist saga, which i like it. Feels like some of the story have something real.
My fav scene is reverent kane visiting freeling's house in poltergeist 2..
