Good question. Inside the buildning is probably in a studio, but my guess is that it's still there somewhere.

Well, it was the John Hancock Tower (exterior). Inside, it was just a set.

A member on Kirsty's forum had posted some (actual) interior pics of the building awhile back. The pics definitely looked different (maybe darker) than what you see in the movie; I assume because they wanted it well lit for the movie.

For some reason, I liked the interior of the movie and probably wouldn't mind living there

not sure if I'd want to deal with those ghosts though.

Well on the set, that was supposed to be inside the building did not have much colors. The whole apartment in the movie was grey, and so was the hallways.

Well, then don't look at the mirrors (which would mean combin' yourself blindly & randomly, LOL) & don't use any analog TV-set, as well as toy phones. They'll leave U alone... until they find another way 2 enter .

I remember a member named Victoria off my old forum went there and posted the pictures. I might have them on some old back ups but finding them after about 5 years will be hard, thats even if I still have the back ups. I will keep an eye open around my house and look through some of my old cd's.

I don't know about the actual sets, but obviously the John Hancock Center tower, where the film is set, is still standing high above the Chicago skyline.
