This state has always interest me because off the different backgrounds of people who lived there and the places and names.
There are lots of Spanish & Portiricans, and Mexicans too. The names there are very Spanish.
My mum has been to San Diego (late 70s i think) and she has also been to New Mexico.

New Mexico is like on the borderline of San Diego, my mum said some people can just go to work and back home from New Mexico to San Diego, she told
me it's only like 1 hour distance from each other.

San Diego is a very Spanish & Portirican place but still very Americanise because it's part of the United States, and where Heather's family lived was safe and a great place. Also Heather's favorite foods was Mexican food and that picture off Heather in the front off that Mexican Restaurant (the one where she is swinging on that pole) The names off Heather's schools there were very Spanish.

I was wondering if her best friend Marjean was Portirican or Spanish even Mexican, her name sounds like that.

And San means Saint my mum told me that.

San Diego, California? That's on the west coast, really close to the Pacific Ocean, but kinda far from New Mexico. Maybe you mean it borders Mexico, because I think part of the city touches the northern part of Mexico.

I used to go there all the time when I was little, we would go to Sea World and Legoland a lot, lol. I haven't been for 5 years, I want to go back soon.

Was that restaurant called Mexi Casa? If it was, I've been there. Not sure if it's the same location, but I went to the one in LA. My uncle lived in Encino and we went out there one year and went to all the cities around there like LA, Burbank, Malibu, etc. You'd like it there, and that restaurant has pretty good food from what I can remember, lol. LA has a ton of good restaurants, especially Johnny Rockets and In-N-Out Burger :P I wonder if she liked those places.

According to Celia, the Mexi-Casa restaurant was at Anaheim, not far from Disneyland and the "trailer park" they used to live in there. In the photo it looks like Heather was very young, around 6 or 7
I always thought it was the Mexi-Casa restaurant at San Diego but Celia said that it wasn't.

There's also the San Diego Zoo, but so far that's the only place I know of that Heather had visited in San Diego.

I'd probably get eaten by gorilla or lion if I went there though, lol.

We could release all the animals and put stuffed animals in their places.....they'd never know.

Another place on my list of lifetime trips. I'd also love to visit Big Bear, Anaheim and Westwood/Hollywood.

I'd also love to tour Europe. Was supposed to be going to Venice next month to have a well needed break from my studies. But somethings gotten in the way :( Guess I have to wait to ride the Gondolas LOL ^_^
