REEL NEWS . . . Chicago Tribune - Thursday, March 24, 1988

Because of the tragic death of Heather O`Rourke in January, the marketing people at MGM are particularly concerned about how to handle promotion for ``Poltergeist III.`` At this point, it looks like the actress, who was 12 when she died, will not be featured in advertising for the movie and none of the actors involved in the movie will tour to promote it, thus avoiding ghoulish questions and focusing on the death. . . . Columbia is gearing up for a re-release of a ``reconstituted`` version of ``Lawrence of Arabia,`` which will include resurrected footage that wasn`t used in the original version. Ann Coates, who edited the original, is working on the `88 version.
