I was pretty upset when I found out. It kind of didn't register right away. It took a few minutes for the news to sink in and then I started to panic and ask could it possibily be a rumor or a publicity stunt of some kind. And my parents told me to watch "Entertainment tonight" and that's when the horrible news was confirmed for me. that was also when I found out about their being a "Poltergeist 3".

I think it surprised everyone. No one was expecting it to happen. Very sad.

I was about 11 years & 1/2 when that happened. Maybe there was something on TV those days, but I don't properly remember .
But of course there were some press clippings I already brought here .

I remember after I heard the news I was calling my friends and was telling them over the phone,so that they would know what was going on and we all liked the "Poltergeist" movies.
