I don't think anybody can know that: I'm sure that even her mother forgot that from the very same day everything happened :(. But if it works, I'll tell you that she remembers a kind of apparition she had while waiting at the Kaiser Foundation Hospital.

I don't think so, because if they did, they probably would have told about it and would talk about how coincidental that was. So I say no.

Poor Kathleen, she was talking about seeing an apparition of Heather when she was in the hospital, and the apparition said "mom, I'm not coming back" and as Kathleen was talking about this on E! THS: The Curse of Poltergeist, she was starting to cry... even after 14 years. There is nothing worse than losing a child :( .

There's not a day goes by  that I don't think of Heather   & that I know her MoM has to endure the pain & sorrow of losing a child. But I know like myself that Heather will always be in her heart & that she  considers her an Angel  :)

i remember Heather's mom saying that she saw heather's spirit at the hospital and she told her mom sorry mom i'm not coming back or something like that!!

I had a similar experience when my dad died. I wasn't quite 10. We didn't go to school that day for some reason. I knew he was in the hospital and that he was sick, but I didn't know he was dying. He had a bad heart and spent a lot of time in the hospital, so it didn't cross my mind that he was dying. I remember being at home and I was playing records. All of a sudden, I started thinking about my dad and I started to cry. I looked up at the clock and it was 10 after 10 in the morning. To this day I don't know why I looked at the clock. Not that long afterward my mom and aunt walked in the door. I knew right then and there that he had died. I was hysterical. Later on, I asked my mom what time he died. Again, I don't know why I asked that. She told me it was at 10 after 10. It didn't hit me until I was an adult what had happened that day. I didn't see an apparition, but I obviously felt something. It's the only time I've ever had that experience.

Well, Kari, your story as well as Cheryl's story really got me thinking how eerie it was that these things happened to you two under the circumstances.

I totally agree on that matter. Within a few years, I lost three much loved family members. First came my grandmother in December 2001 (For some reason, my parents didn't want me to come with them to visit her in the nursing home that day. I didn't understand why at the time, but now I see they didn't want me to see her die). Then came one of my uncles in September 2002. And finally, came one of my aunts in July 2006.

Hmm.. maybe it is written down? Since we know Heather died 2.43 pm.

Yes, Heather officially died at 2:43 that fateful February afternoon, when her heart gave out for good.
