I'd like to know how Heather felt when she saw herself in the "Poltergeist" movies: I read that she saw the 1st one about 12 times (wow!!). I'm really curious about her feeling while watching the infamous "sucking closet" scene. Got any idea of it?

I'm not totally sure, but I think she said somewhere she didn't like watching herself. And she didn't find P2 scary.

Generally, she was pretty humble about herself as far as how she rated her performance. She probably thought seeing her on screen was no big deal. While filming P III she was getting tired of seeing herself in the mirror. ;)) She really liked watching P I though. She thought it was HUGE! :D

I thought that was only because of the Kane make-up she had on...maybe I misread :-/

Yeah, that's all right. But I mean there should be a little contradictory feeling about seeing herself in the 1st Poltergeist and her feelings while shooting the sucking closet scene. I wonder how she remebered it.

"It was awful," said Heather later, looking at the grim 12-year-old's face that stared back at her from the glass. "I'm kind of glad it's over with. I couldn't even stand looking at myself in the mirror."

She probably just shrugged and giggled when she saw the closet scene again. I bet she thought, "I can't believe I got so scared!" ;)) Steven Spielberg to the rescue!
