That's the Masoleum Wall Sactuary of Tenderness, Amber. Yes, it's a giant tomb where all the bodies are stored. The markers mark the particular spot each body is housed in.

They are buried, Lisa. This is an ancient form of body burial, thousands upon thousands of years older than burying bodies into the earth. The Ancient Egyptians and Sumarians buried their dead this way.

This Kinda Tombs Are Popular In Some States.
I Think Its Made To Save Some Space In The Cemetery.
Think About How Many People Die Everyday...

But I Dont Think Heather Should Be In Those Tombs.
Shes Special,She Needs A Nice Little Grave In The Ground Like Most Of The Celebretys.
It Seems So Tiny Space For Her....

Being in a wall with other tombs and bodies didn't/doesn't mean she was or is any less loved, Yaniv. It is just a cheaper, more cost effective way to be entombed. Everyone rents their grave space per year at Westwood memorial, and trust me, it's incredibly expensive to be buried there in the first place, no matter how or where in the park.

They are burried in a slot much like in a drawer. Their casket fits perfectly inside it.

No problem, Lis. :) And you didn't sound rude to me. :)

Except from our recent MSN Messager chat:

8/9/2005 2:52:33 PM ®Lisa®(L)Trailer Park Boys Rule!(L)Chris(L)My new email is christophers_babe_NO EMAILS ALLOWED_hotmail.com, Suaviterinmodo (Formiter in re!) srry to bug you, but how are they burried? if they are in a box? please dont think of me as rude as this is new to me

8/9/2005 3:09:16 PM Suaviterinmodo (Formiter in re!) ®Lisa®(L)Trailer Park Boys Rule!(L)Chris(L) They fit inside a retractable slot the way a drawer pulls out. It's like their casket is put into a drawer space, then closed and locked, sealed by their marker.

8/9/2005 3:09:46 PM ®Lisa®(L)Trailer Park Boys Rule!(L)Chris(L)(F)Rated PG(F) Suaviterinmodo (Formiter in re!) oh that makes alot of sence
8/9/2005 3:11:12 PM Suaviterinmodo (Formiter in re!) ®Lisa®(L)Trailer Park Boys Rule!(L)Chris(L)(F)Rated PG(F) So, you understand now how she was buried? Like I said, it's the most primitive form of burial around, but it's classy and beautiful. (L)

8/9/2005 3:11:36 PM ®Lisa®(L)Trailer Park Boys Rule!(L)Chris(L)(F)Rated PG(F) Suaviterinmodo (Formiter in re!) yes i do thank you very much

All grave yards suck. Reguard less how anyone is burried. I live near a really old one from the 1830's & ya see all the kids in there, it's so sad. & to see that pic up here. It wasnt to long ago that I stood in the very spot for my five minutes or more. I stood there thinking how she was just alive not to long ago, & talking. That was the last time I can say that I visited anyone in a place like that

I have seen some grave sites at Westwood advertised on ebay for US$500,000 and as far as I know that would be a once only fee. I have heard that entombments (we wont call them burials) in mausoleums are rented on a 25 year lease. (correct me if Im wrong) There are 2 other well known people entombed near Heather they are Truman Capote (cremated) and Peter Lawford (also cremated) and later removed from the mausoleum because the family could not afford the cost of keeping his remains there. His ashes were scattered over a beach somewhere. Heather was not cremated but was embalmed which would preserve her remains. Another form of burial is what the Italians at Innisfail NQ are known to use , the casket is placed on the ground and set in concrete above ground. The casket is completely set in concrete.

Hi Lisa!

Don't worry this topic isn't so bad. I think that it is even very important to think what shall happen if we leave our cover. And I find this topic interesting. For example, I find Tom's thoughts very much interessand.
Bay the way, I must say that I have never asked myself what shall happen with my cover if I will go.
Have you already wondered this?

take care!
